Kolber was born in Pennsylvania and earned a master's education from the University of Miami. Kolber began her career with CBS Sports New York City in the position of video coordinator. The award was an Sports Emmy for her work at WTVJ-TV Miami. She has also worked as an anchor for WPLG-TV Miami, and WPEC-TV West Palm Beach. In 1993, she was a part of ESPN and was chosen as one of the initial anchors for ESPN2 when it was introduced that year. The station stayed with her until ESPN2 till Fox Sports hired her. After that, she was back at ESPN and is currently hosts 'Monday Night Countdown.'
