Amanda Elizabeth Righetti has worked as an American actor since 1999. She rose to fame as Grace Van Pelt the special agent in CBS's police procedural series The Mentalist. Righetti, an Utah native, had always longed to be a performer. At the age of four she was dancing. In 1995, she made her big screen debut with the film Love and Happiness. In the role of CBS CSI: Crime Scene Investigation guest star she made her debut on a small screen. Righetti started her modeling career when she was only 14. Righetti started her career as a model at age 14. After a few years she relocating into Los Angeles where she continued acting in small roles but with significant significance until she got a role in Foxs Drama for teenagers The O.C.. Righetti had also played important roles in 2009's horror film Friday the thirteenth and Captain America: The first Avenger. She has appeared in Foxs soap-opera North Shore. Her role in The Mentalist from 2008-2015 was well-received by the critics. Righetti has recently played Madeline Kenner (USA Networks' sci-fi drama Colony).
