Ashley Graham was born in Lincoln, Nebraska. The twin sisters raised in the same household, and she was regularly bullied at school due to the dimensions of her thighs. Graham was diagnosed at first by A.D.H.D. shortly after her primary education. Graham was diagnosed with an attention deficit disorder (A.D.H.D.) just a few days after completing primary school. Graham was discovered by a talent agent while she was 12 years old in an Nebraska mall. She was in several magazines and on billboards before she graduated at Lincoln Southwest High School, in the year 2005. She had a unique physical form that made obtaining employment difficult when she first started. Graham accepted several catalog modeling offers over time. Yet she was constantly told that it was impossible for her to advance beyond smaller projects. However, she managed to prove session casters wrong, and her career progressed quickly. Sally Singer was the "Vogue Magazine" interviewer, who provided her with one her first breaks in 2007. Then, she was mentioned on "Glamour" magazine's "These Bodies Are Beautiful at every size" in 2009. Graham was in the news for the second time in 2009 after she was featured in the controversy-making Lane Bryant commercial that ultimately was banned in many countries. At the time that the commercial was taken off YouTube the video had already been viewed over 800,000. When the controversy spiraled, she appeared on the Jay Leno show "The Tonight Show". Graham was well-known and is one of most popular plus-size women today. Grande began acting and singing at a very early age. Her first appearance was a minor role on Broadway's play 13 in 2008. After that she started acting on numerous television shows. In 2010, she got her most awaited break, landing a part on Nickelodeon's television series Victorious. She appeared as Cat Valentine, a teenager studying at a school for performing arts. She starred in Sam & Cat, a spin-off television show which aired from 2013 until 2014.
